Meet Jill.
Jill Love is a senior care consultant and geriatric care manager (also known as an aging life care manager), and she brings clarity and comfort to families as they navigate the world of senior care. She works with older adults and their families to evaluate needs and resources, create care plans, and adjust to changing circumstances. She is also the principal investigator of an NIH grant, developing a simple screening tool to detect early Alzheimer’s disease. Jill has a master’s degree in Gerontology from the USC Davis School of Gerontology as well as an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Jill has her RCFE administrator certificate in California, and she is a professional member of the Aging Life Care Association. She is also the co-leader of the South Bay chapter of the Senior Specialists Group, part of the Foundation for Senior Services. She is grateful to live in Redondo Beach with her husband and two children.
Comfort & Clarity
Our goal is to bring relief, comfort, and clarity to our clients in the form of specific, relevant information. We aim to educate people about how to make informed decisions with (or on behalf of) their loved ones – and also for themselves. Most people don’t want to think about senior care until they have to, and we know first-hand that good planning maximizes people’s options and keeps them in control of things as much as possible. We want to encourage an open dialogue within the community, families, couples and individuals.
We Are Your Advocates
Peters & Love grew out of a desire to continue to do what we love the most and to be able to do it anywhere. We have consulted with thousands of families and know that every story is unique and important. We have years of experience, a vast network of resources, and a broad understanding of the senior care industry so we are able to formulate a specific plan for each situation. We are your advocates and work for you. Because we don’t accept referral fees from communities or care providers, our guidance and recommendations are unbiased.
Educating Is Our Passion
We met on the job in the Marketing Department of a continuing care retirement community. Although we were a successful sales force, we spent the majority of time educating seniors and their families about the vast and complicated world of senior care, and we loved doing it. In fact, we loved educating much more than we loved selling. It was clear to both of us that our deepest satisfaction came from helping people figure out their best course of action, whether or not that involved moving into our community.
